Wow! While waiting for the hell of the harvest to come I decided to check the results of a couple of tastings that I’ve sent my wines to throughout the year. And found that on @raffaelewinescritic website (winescritic.com). Our “Hell’s blend” petnat, named MO🔸DUS (as it’s made mainly from MOscato & DUSset which is the name of the Dolcetto in Piedmontese language) participated in a national rosé wine tasting organized by Raffaele. Here’s what he writes:
🔸2020: «Succulent and in good sensorial shape, shows notes of geranium, mandarina juice, green tea leaves and camphor. Full body, creamy and precise in the flavor, shows density and volume but remains elegant and genuine. Immediately splendid. A grand petnat, maybe the best I’ve ever tasted!»
🔸2021: «Rose petals, wild strawberries, sour cherries and white musk are the principal notes of this young, pure and engaging expression. Medium body, stratified, perfect structure, linear and wrapping, a really long aftertaste that makes you turn back to the glass. Good now. MODUS is made from old vines planted in 1935. For sure this is one of the most interesting petnats, produced in Italy»

Thanks a lot, Raffaele!❤️
